Opening the doors
Johannes Hunter Jewelers opened their doors April 1988 in downtown Colorado Springs.  A family owned business, Linda and Glenn Hunter introduced the city to designer Eddie Sakamoto,  exquisite colored gemstones, quality diamonds, and custom jewelry.  They quickly built a solid reputation based on their distinctive contemporary selections, knowledge, and customer care.

Some things stay the same
Today, Johannes Hunter Jewelers is still proud to offer Eddie Sakamoto designs, as well as other designers who meet the distinctive characteristics and quality for which Johannes Hunter is known. The store has moved one block south, but behind the counters you will still find expert gemologists and helpful staff...including a family member or two.

In 20 years, downtown has seen many changes.  Johannes Hunter Jewelers attributes their success to a faithful client base, exceptional customer care, and a selection of jewelery that is, with a nod to Robert Palmer's 1988 hit, "simply irresistible."
