Our newest jewelry spotlight involves favorite pieces selected by JHJ staff. Even after looking at sparkling jewelry all day, every day, we're still suckers for all things diamonds, gemstones, and more!
This week, we asked Kat to narrow down her favorite piece of jewelry. After little contemplation, she returned with an Art Deco-esque ruby and diamond pendant.
“This pendant has so much beauty and grace packed into a petite adornment. The invisible-set rubies create a vivid sea of red behind the simple curves of diamonds. It can be worn on casual days or formal nights and will always be an eye-catcher!" - Kat Fox
Kat tends to swoon over antique and vintage-inspired jewelry over contemporary designs. Intricate detailing, uniquely cut stones and motifs from decades past are usually what triggers her admiration. The Art Deco inspiration and skillfully set rubies in this pendant made it an easy choice as her favorite. Invisible-set rubies, where metal and prongs cannot be seen between the individual stones, and pave-set diamonds are surrounded in 18 karat white gold with tiny milgrain detail. This pendant definitely withstands the test of time and can be enjoyed for years to come.
